M6 Assignment: Persuasive Argument Brainstorm

For module 7 you will be giving a persuasive speech on a proposition of fact, value, or policy. Make sure to review pages 267-277 in Exploring Public Speaking if needed.

For this assessment, you will brainstorm 5 propositions, with at least one from each category of fact, value, or policy. Each proposition should have a degree of controversy within them because there is evidence on both sides of the argument.

Once you have listed each proposition, explain in 50-100 words why this is a controversial topic.
