(d) (6 marks) Evaluation Metrics We have trained a classifier to recognise dogs in an image. 20 test images are then used to evaluate the performance of the trained model, with a pet in each image, either a dog or a cat. The test images contain 12 dogs and 8 cats. The trained model identifies 8 dogs: with 5 actually are dogs (true positives), the other 3 are cats (false positives), 7 dogs were missed (false negatives), 5 cats were correctly excluded (true negatives).
