Truss has:
Horizontally parallel bottom and top sections, sixteen-feet apart.
Fifty-four-foot long bottom section AD with left end A resting on pinned support and eight end D resting on roller support.
Three lower chords AE, EF, and FD of eighteen-foot each.:
Single-chord top section made of upper chord BC of eighteen-feet length.
Two inclined end posts AB on the left and CD on the right.
Two vertical web members BE and CF of sixteen-feet each.
One diagonal web member BF.
ror the client truss design shown.
Draw the FBD (Fig 1)
Solve for the reactions in terms of P(Fig 1)
Solve for the force in any four (4) truss members in terms of P using any truss method.
Model in SkyCiv or SAP2000 using the verification model (Fig 2) to validate your solution equations.
State tension or compression for the forces.
Submit your work using proper scientific documentation learned in MAE 101
Bonus work: Write a code with inputs for P that supports your computational analysis as further verification.
