Make a comment! Ethical System: Utilitarian Principle . Reason for that isbecause if we focus on creating stricter requirements there should be lessirresponsible people owning guns. If we take guns away from the people

Ethical System: Utilitarian Principle . Reason for that is because if we focus on creating stricter requirements there should be less irresponsible people owning guns. If we take guns away from the people in the U.S this would involve violating their constitutional rights that the 2 amendment protects. The 2nd amendment allows the people of the U.S to bear arms in order to provide self defense in dangerous situations. . With this principle we will be able to understand the reasons why the rules would get stricter, but it would also benefit others. This may make others feel safer of their surroundings as well The 2nd Amendment A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Offering My Opinion . I believe people should be able to own guns and however many they want, but it comes with a price. There should be a rule where it requires you to undergo a screening for see how your mental health is, but with that screening there should be scenarios where it'll determine if you're in the right state of mind of owning a firearm/firearms. I don't think it's right to take people's guns away because it's protected under the 2nd amendment. Guns are not always bad; they can be used for the right reasons. . Guns don't kill, it's the person behind it. Work Cited Shack, Tac. "My CMS." Tac Shack Firearm Webinars, 4 Mar. 2020, https://tacshack.com/range/. Dunn, Lisa. "How Many People in the U.S. Own Guns?"
