I have enjoyed my first year as the director of an early childhood program so much that I am surprised to find it is already March. Although I never imagined I would be hiring new teachers during my first year, three teachers on my staff have announced that they will not be returning next year. Now what? So far, all of my experiences with the hiring process have been as a candidateI have zero experience as a hiring manager. To better organize the process, I decide to review the necessary steps and map them out systematically by making a flowchart.
