She continues to state her father cannot survive with 7 hours of homecare. She wants 24/7 care prior to discharge. She made the request to BCBS MLTC, pending the date and time a nurse will come in. Shirley November: Rona Ziegel, cousin and health care proxy of Ms. November has expressed concerns about her return to the community. Ms. Ziegel reported that prior to admission Ms. November had homecare services Monday to Sunday for 7 hours per day. She is known to fire the staff, not open the door when they arrive. Her door has been broken down several times. She has a social worker at self-help who I intend to speak to as Ms. Ziegel believes she can only return home with 24/7 care. However, Ms. November is confused; I place a psych consult for capacity once it has been determined HCP will be activated. Ms. Zeigel lives in Vermont and is unable to provide support.
