Being in the industry for nearly a decade Ive seen some accidents and one that stuck out particular was a forklift caryying to much weight tried to boom some material and completely tipped forward into the building unfortanaltey the guy was fired however no one was hurt.To avoid accidents like a forklift tipping over due to carrying too much weight, it's crucial to develop a comprehensive safety plan tailored to the specific dynamics of a multi-employer construction site. First, ensuring that only trained and certified operators handle equipment is fundamental. Regular training sessions and refreshers can help workers stay informed about the latest safety protocols and equipment handling techniques.

In addition to operator training, I would propose developing an Internal Traffic Control Plan (ITCP). An effective ITCP can significantly reduce the risk of accidents by regulating the movement of vehicles and equipment on site. The ITCP would include designated routes for different types of vehicles, clear signage, and barriers to separate pedestrian zones from vehicle pathways. Establishing specific entry and exit points can help manage the flow of traffic, reducing congestion and confusion.

Regular inspection and maintenance of equipment are also vital. Ensuring that every vehicle and piece of machinery is in good working order can prevent mechanical failures that might lead to accidents.
