Making sampling plan recommendations

Individually you will submit a one-page sampling plan for ONE of the scenarios your group discusses.

Your sampling plan should include the following elements: 1. Target Population What are the characteristics that define who you want to collect data from? 2. Sampling Frame Consider potential sources, availability and access 3. Sampling Method Recommend an appropriate sampling method, including justifying why it is the best option for the scenario and the advantages and disadvantages of the recommended method 4. Sample Size Recommend an appropriate sample size, including how this can be determined

scenario: Back Yard BBQ (BYBBQ), a fast-food restaurant chain, specialises in selling Aussie-style burgers, fish and barbecue chicken meals with typical salad and chips on the side. They have been operating in Sydney and are now planning to launch a store in the Melbourne CBD. They would like to conduct a survey to better understand Melbourne consumers attitudes towards the consumption of fast-food.
