Making the Business Case

Background: We will be using a small business called $$The Commons Fooderie$$ cafe in Fairfax that just recently opened. The problem that they have is what newly opened businesses usually struggle with $$ attracting and keeping customers. For this project, we will focus on the $$keeping the customer$$ part. So$,$ we came up with a solution to implement a CRM system, which would allow the cafe to build relationships with its future customers. Since it is a local business, we want to give back to the community, so please include that in one of the slides. The main goal, though, is to increase revenue by investing in new technology that will keep customers and pay back as their business grows. In terms of finances $($the key part$),$ you want to research how much on average a bakery in Fairfax makes in its first year of operation. As well as consider affordable CRM systems, as they might not have a big budget starting out.

We also want to mention that corporations have been promoting a $$personalized approach$,$ but local businesses do not seem to be working on that, which might be the reason people tend to choose Starbucks$/$Chick fila$/$Panera instead.
