Hence, a growing number of businesses are enlisting ombudspersons to handle internal conflicts. The ombudspersons ask how things are going and counsel frustrated employees; they listen, counsel, and help plan solutions. These sessions are private unless there is an imminent risk of harm to the employee or the organization.
