Marketing News Reflection:
Throughout this course, we will be doing what I loosely call "marketing research." This entails looking for articles about new things happening in marketing - companies that are doing things that give you a reason to look twice. Attempt to look beyond promotion to pricing issues, service issues and things that affect you as a consumer. Look for a case study, article, research paper, or news item using at WARC (found in our Benner Bus/Marketing Subject Guide under "Selected Databases") that address these issues. I want you to think about why the marketers are doing what they are doing. Due to the nature or our university subscriptions, some databases may not be available. If a specific database (mentioned above) is not available, please use an alternative in the Benner Library Marketing Subject Guide. This assignment will occur 4 times throughout the semester and will inform our discussion on the assigned class days. Late assignments will not be accepted. NOTE: Must use WARC research database as your source for all of your reflection papers if available.
The actual assignment involves reading an article, writing a 400 word summary and reflection, and including visuals to support your reflection. Use APA citation.
You may do these assignments in any order, but you will submit one of each of the following 4 entries over the course of the semester. Each assignment is worth 25 points for a total of 100.
