Mary was so excited about the holiday shopping season that she could hardly wait for the Black Friday sales. She got up early and spent all day at her favorite store, Mega Deals, shopping. Mary was on the 4^thfloor in the dressing room when the lights started shutting off. She realized the store was closing, as she lost all track of time. She called out and no one answered. The escalators and elevators were no longer working, so she used the stairs to get to the first floor. Mary has a hip issue and it's difficult for her to use stairs. When Mary reached the first floor, she tried to exit through the front doors, but they were locked. Mary saw the security guard outside and pounded on the glass doors to get his attention. The security guard looked at her and then walked away. She panicked and was terrified. She began running around the store to find an unlocked door. She found one side door that was open and she dashed out. When she got into her car, she realized in her haste she had some merchandise in her hand that she had not paid for. She decided to drive off and deal with paying for it later. She was exhausted and distressed over the entire situation.
