I used my shampoo bottle, which has (mostly) straight sides. 2. Trace the outline of your solid on paper, or measure it using calipers or measuring tape. Create functions that model the radius of your solid. 3. Integrate your mctions using the disk method to calculate the total (displacement) volume of your solid. 4. Include a picture of your solid. Notes: - Measuring in centimeters rather than inches makes life eas1er. . Accuracy is great, but please don't overdo it. Hopefully your modeling functions will be linear, or possibly quadratic.
