May I please have a fully developed answer for the below-posted question

In what has become known as the 'gig economy, people work on a series of freelance contracts, often as and when required, with no guarantee of work. Sometimes they agree to be available at all times and are therefore prevented from doing other work. Those for whom such people work are keen to classify them as 'self-employed', as their contracts usually state that they are so that they do not gain employment rights. There are thought to be around five million people working this way in the UK. Many people doing new gig work are either Uber and Lyft drivers or Airbnb hosts.

Some believe that this new economy isbad for workerswithuncertainties and other problemsbeing created for workers in these positions that those in traditional jobs avoid. Others point to the flexibility of such jobs in atech-centered future.
