Meta$-$analysis $-$ Mean effect size

In $2008,$ a group of researchers from the University of Murcia in Spain performed a meta$-$analysis study of the benefits of cognitive$-$behavioral treatment for obsessive$-$compulsive disorder $($OCD$).$ In their study, $24$ independent experimental studies involving a total of $752$ subjects were compared using meta$-$analysis techniques.
