Review the "Resources for Holding Virtual Meetings", located in Class Resources, and refer to the attached "Daily Stand-Up Report" template for additional instructions on holding and reporting on your stand-up meetings.

Refer to the "Sprint Retrospective" template, and review Resources for Sprint 2 Planning located in the Topic 5 Resources for additional information on completing your assignment.

Assume that your team's first sprint was very successful and released into production. Your estimations were fairly accurate, and your team was able to accomplish all the tasks it forecasted it could complete.

Directions: You are now ready to plan Sprint 2. For this sprint, your team must accomplish the following:

1. Select a new Scrum Master.
2. Hold stand-up meetings (a minimum of two). Evaluate the roadblocks.
3. Create additional user stories and populate a second epic in Jira.
4. Plan the second sprint worth 100 story points. Include estimating with "Planning Poker" as covered in Topic 4 or with another method, and update the sprint board in Jira.
5. Complete the "Sprint Retrospective" chart in the "Sprint Retrospective" template.

Note: The instructor will introduce a roadblock during this topic in the Group Collaboration Discussion Board in the digital classroom. Your team must account for this roadblock during sprint planning.

Week 5 roadblock for team assignment:

The web designer assigned to development has requested two weeks off due to a family

emergency. The company only has two other web designers and both are tied up in other

projects for the first week. The team needs to consider the timeframe allotted for web

design and determine how to proceed.
