Conduct a value chain analysis for McDonalds. What are its primary activities? What are its support activities? Identify the activities that add the most value for the customer. Why? Which activities help McDonalds to contain cost? Why?

[Note: Primary activities contribute to the direct physical creation of the product or service, the sale and transfer to the buyer, and the service after the sale. Primary activities include inbound logistics, operations, outbound logistics, marketing and sales, and service. Similarly, Support activities either add value by themselves or add value through important relationships with both primary activities and other support activities. Support activities include procurement, technology development, human resource management, and general administration.
