You are working as an office manager at a large specialty clinic. As an office manager, part of your role is to oversee new employee

orientation and provide ongoing training for all administrative staff. Over the past several months, you have noticed some

inconsistencies with how the clinic staff handles patient referrals, precertification, and preauthorization for various insurance plans.

You plan to address this by focusing on these processes during next month's all$-$employee meeting.

Instructions:

Create a presentation that will be used during your all$-$employee meeting. Your audience will include both existing administrative

staff and new employees. Your presentation should include three topics:

An overview of commercial insurance plans

Explanation of the requirements necessary for a patient referral

Explanation of the process for both precertification and preauthorization

Assessment Requirements$/$Submission Requirement:

Use Microsoft PowerPoint to create your presentation. Your presentation should include:

A minimum of $10$ slides

This presentation does not require a voiceover, but you are required to write your speaker's notes in complete

sentences under each slide.
