4. Genetically modified crops (like soya and corn) have been developed in the US and are being exported around the word. There is resistance to these exports in many countries including the Asian region. Why do you think there are resistance to this? Explain. 

5. Explain why research and development (R&D) are much more important now than they were 30 years ago? Give 10 reasons and explain.
