During the Covid-19 period, most vehicle manufacturers, including BMW in South Africa, had a semiconductor scarcity. As a result, BMW's whole automobile production environment has been impacted. The company's many departments, such as human resources, sales, and marketing, were badly impacted. It is worth noting that if there is a scarcity of semiconductors, the automobile production unit will be unable to make and deliver the car to the client, and as a result, all departments will experience a slowdown. Theres no adequate supply of new vehicles and Parts. Demand is high but supply is low which affects business operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic effects on the supply chain.
