Mr John Brown (01/11/30) is a 91-year-old man who was admitted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital by ambulance after being found by the backdoor following a fall in the backyard. It is unknown when the accident happened however, he says he crawled some 100 metres and was on the ground overnight. On admission, Mr Brown was diagnosed with hypothermia, severe bruising to the left side of his body, no breaks, which has left him with moderate weakness in his left arm and leg. A diagnosis of dementia was also made. Mr Brown currently lives alone in the family home of over 60 years. In has pre-existing heart disease with a pacemaker fitted.
