In the hospital doctors recommended operation and wanted a deposit of shs 50000 before operation could be done. Manager was approached and he refused to pay. The management of private hospital recommended that Marube be taken to a public hospital. On reaching public hospital, the hospital doctors said that they did not have relevant tools to perform the operation. He was transferred to another private hospital which wanted a deposit of shs 60000. Mr. Marube's family had to organize fund raising as managing director still refused to pay. He was operated but the damage was already done he could not swallow anything throughout his life. He had to live by taking fluids through artificial tube.
