Question: MS - EXCEL ( Spreadsheet ) Design & Function Using any current ( or recent textbook ) that you have in any science or engineering

MS-EXCEL (Spreadsheet) Design & Function
Using any current (or recent textbook) that you have in any science or engineering course (other than this class) identify a mathematical relationship (or "model") and design and develop an effective and functional spreadsheet that provides graphical analysis of your chosen relationship / model that is easily modifiable (user-selected/entered parameters) and is informative and instructive as to the models behaviors.
Your spreadsheet (MS-EXCEL: Macro-enabled workbook) should ...
Give information on the model / relationship(s)
Clearly show user-modifiable inputs (cells)
Indicate fixed (or combinations) of units used/assumed (possible)
Provide graphical representation (with "engineering graph rules" correctly considered & followed!)
Provide a reference to source information (textbook, etc.)
Show validation information (as effectively as possible)
Your cover memo (MS-WORD document) should ...
Review the objective(s) for the submitted (attached work)- Specific to this task!
Outline the methods employed to accomplish each task
Discuss (summarize) steps taken to ensure computational precision and accuracy
Include AT A MINIMUM one or more reference sources for relationships/models developed
Include an embedded graph (which should have a Figure # - Description below the object) from your spreadsheet that is representative of the worksheet functionality
Specific Assignment Requirements
Write and Validate (Test, Confirm that your calculations work correctly!)... This applies to any and ALL of the Worksheet or programs outlined in the assignment.
Submission Instructions
All of your work should be presented in a single (1) MS-Word document that is printed (hard copy) and submitted at the beginning of class. Please print the assignment (with your validation discussion) and staple the next page of this assignment description as the cover sheet / assessment criteria for the hardcopy submission.
The MS-Word document AND your MS-EXCEL file should be submitted to the assignment link on BlackBoard for the course (same due dates and times apply).
Additional Notes:
Make sure to initial/sign next to your name (in the FROM field at the top of the memo!)
Review the rubric for comments on assessment criteria as your guide (following page)
(If possible) Attach (combine) the Memorandum rubric as the 1st page for your submission
As always be clear, concise and effective in your communication ideally memorandums are short and to the point.
