STUDENT NAME: Problem 1. (30 POINTS) Tech offers a number of off-campus courses in its professional and executive Master of Information Technology (MIT) programs at various locations around the state. The courses are taught by a group of regular Tech information technology faculty and adjuncts they hire from around the state. There are 2 main considerations in assigning individual faculty to courses: 1. The travel distance 2. The average course teaching evaluation scores from past years The college would like to minimize the mileage for teaching the courses not only for each faculty member's benefit but also to reduce program expenses. It would also like to have the faculty member who does the best job with a particular course teach that course. The following table shows the mileage for each faculty member to each course location and his or her average teaching evaluation scores (on a 5 scale where 5 is outstanding and 1 is poor) for the fall semester: Table 1 Distance Course (MILEAGE/SCORE) MIT001 MIT002 MIT003 MIT004 MIT005 MIT006 Table 2 Scores Course (MILEAGE/SCORE) MIT001 MIT002 MIT003 MIT004 MIT005 MIT006 TEACHER TEACHER 1 101 135 153 1 39 100 220 TEACHER 3.92 3.79 2.84 4.34 5.11 2.22 2 168 100 107 225 41 205 TEACHER 2 5.45 5.61 4.93 4.02 3.04 5.29 TEACHER 3 160 230 3 93 176 122 35 TEACHER 2.83 4.53 3.11 3.7 2.47 5.65 TEACHER 4 137 62 188 102 4 52 225 TEACHER 2.05 5 2.49 4.23 5.31 3.1 TEACHER 5 210 119 5 188 184 60 226 TEACHER 4.95 3.56 4.99 4.71 5.81 4.47 TEACHER 6 203 199 6 54 61 147 31 TEACHER 5.85 2.65 2.19 2.81 5.38 1| Page 5.14 1.
