Must be in Java, please!
Write a program that will calculate an employees total pay for a week (hourly pay + commission). Your program should ask the user how many hours they work and then their total sales amount.
Hourly Wage - Their hourly wage is $11.50 for the first 40 hours and then time-and-a-half ($11.50 * 1.5) for anything over 40 hours.
Commission - Commission is a small percentage of total sales that the employee earns.
Total Pay Total hourly wages + commission
Commission for sales is shown:
Sales Commission
$0.00 - $99.99 5% of total sales
$100.00-$299.99 10% of total sales
$300.00+ 15% of total sales
Make sure you print back to the user their total pay for the week. Money values should be formatted appropriately and your output should be descriptive as in the example.
Test values: 10 hours + $10 sales = $115.50 ($115.00 + $.50)
40 hours + $300 sales = $505.00 ($460 + $45)
57 hours + $225 sales = $775.75 ($753.25 + $22.50)
Theres some example output below. Your program should run the test case exactly as it appears below, and should work on any other case in general.
Example console output: (>>> indicates users input)
This program will calculate your total weekly pay when given hours worked and total sales.
How many hours did you work this week?
>>>57
What is your total sales amount?
>>>225
Your paycheck should be $775.75. You earned $753.25 in hourly wages and $22.50 in commission.
