My assignment was slightly different than the one posted here.

"Consider the following open-ended survey question and list at least three issues with the way this question is worded, then create a new question(s) to avoid those issues: "To what extent do you not venerate psychology generally or research methods more specifically because you think it is of great consequence"?

I found the 3 issues, no problem there, but as the question itself confused me, I am not quite sure how to create a new question that avoids the issues.

In short, the issues I found were, that it is not a clear simple question, it is complex, uses less familiar terminology, and uses the word "not", that often leads to confusion.

If you could please help me with reconstructing the question, that would be appreciated.
