My prior class was centered on Coral programming, and it was my very first introduction to contemporary coding. I say contemporary because I learned Basic several decades on the TRS-80 (Tandy-RadioShack Z80) years ago before Windows OS had even been released and became a household term. From what I have reviewed thus far, Python appears to be a very good programming language for novices seeking to get started learning applicable coding skills. It is versatile with regards to it being useful for both simple tasks as well as complex ones. It is an interpreted language so the programmers that are writing code can test out the functionality of each line immediately to allow for any changes that may need to be made. Another positive aspect of is the use of beginner-friendly commands written in English syntax. Further still is the supportive community available for those seeking help with programming issues related to Python.

Some of the obvious benefits that I can relate to learning Python for my career advancement involve the increased demands by major businesses seeking prospective employees to fill positions related to it. Large companies such as Netflix, Facebook, and Google use programs developed via Python and several report indicate that individuals skilled in this language are earning highly profitable salaries.
