My project involves building a bank for a lake side community experiencing erosion/flooding problems. The project is for a 150 foot long shoreline and the construction involves a 10 foot tall by 6 foot wide gabions. "The barrier will stabilize the soil behind and minimize the entry of water." (Bluemont, 2023) The project involves figuring out the cost of the gabion construction as well as maintenance. In addition it involves showing that businesses in the area would be affected and would be reliable to cover the costs with insurance rates. In addition, residential areas would be affected and would give incentive for protection of the area. I came upon this idea as I have a cottage on a lake and many lakeshore communities have started on related projects as erosion of the banks is becoming a increasing problem due to higher water levels. I believe these projects are only going to become more common and understanding the intricacies of them is important to me. Scenario analysis is important to use in real life application. The project involves working outside and in harsh environments. Weather would determine timeline and there could be unforeseen obstacles.

Based on the above paragraph, is this project making a case for funding from a financial institute , which means that can I convince the financial institution that the project will be able to make enough cast to pay them back with interest over time? why or why not and explain your reason?
