Name: Transformation Pixel Project (Test) You will be drawing a pixel picture of whatever you want (hint: the easier the picture the easier it will be for you to finish the project in time). After you draw your picture you will then perform a series of transformations and show your knowledge of the 4 transformations we have learned so far. Follow the directions below: 1. Draw a pixel picture of whatever you like in the center of quadrant I of your graph paper. Here are some easy things you can think about drawing: your favorite sport team logo, your favorite food, your favorite animal or your favorite video game character. 2. Draw 5 points on your picture and label them with letters. Make sure they are spread as evenly around your picture as possible. 3. Conduct a translation of your pre-image into quadrant II of your graph paper, use the rule (x - 15, y -3). Be sure to label your new picture with appropriate letter labels. Also draw an arrow to your new picture and label the arrow translation and how far you went using the translation rule. 4. Conduct a reflection over the x-axis of your new picture into quadrant III of your graph paper. Be sure to label this 3d picture with appropriate letter labels. Draw another arrow to the 3d picture and label the arrow reflection and the appropriate reflection rule. 5. Conduct a rotation about the origin of your 30 picture into quadrant IV of your graph paper. Be sure to label this 4th picture with the appropriate rotation rule. Draw another arrow from the 3d picture to the 4th and label the arrow rotation and the appropriate rotation rule. 6. BONUS: Dilate the original pixel picture in Q1 by a scale factor of k = 1/2 7. Make sure all your pictures have the 5 points with letters and make sure you used your prime signs appropriately. 8. Add color to your pictures
