Your company, a smaller manufacturer of electronic medical devices, operates in a highly competitive industry. Due to constant cost pressures in healthcare systems and rapid technological development, continuous product development and improvement are key to success. To keep up with stronger competitors, numerous project teams are constantly developing new product ideas.

Until now, the company has sought candidates from within its ranks to promote them to project managers. After many years of successfully using this selection process, the failure rate for these project managers has recently increased significantly. As a result, management has decided that the company needs to develop a better approach to selecting internal project managers.
