Question: NCDOT is installing a precast 1 5 ' - 0 by 1 1 ' - 0 Double Barrel Box Culvert across US Higinway 2 2

NCDOT is installing a precast 15'-0 by 11'-0 Double Barrel Box Culvert across US Higinway 221 as shown on the attached plans. The precast double barrel weighs 9,000lbs? ff and is provided in 6' long sections. The para meters for the crane lifting operation are as follows.
The Red dashed line on the Plan View for the Culvert represent the "No Crane" zone where the Crane wheels, Outriggers or Tracks cannot encroach due to the anticipatedload on the open excavation
The Crane will be allowed to operate along the Dashed Red Line for the entire length of the Culvert ( a travel path for the C rane may be constructed), the refore the maximum lift distance beyond the Dashed Red Line is 51'*0** as shown at the Southwest End of the Culvert.
The area "hatched" in Blue is the operating a rea for the Crane and Delivery Trucks.
The lift radius from the delivery truck is not considered since the trucks will be able to pull directly adjacent to the Crane.
The Ball, Hook and Spreader Bar for any of the Cranes is 2000 lbs.
The Slings are attached to the Spreader Bar such that it creates a 60 degree angle with the Load at the point of connection. There are (4) Four Pick Points on the Culvert Section.
Based on the Project Plans. Crane Lift Parameters a nd Crane Information; Provide the answers to the following questions but inputting your answers into the text bax provided.; Your answers will need to be supported by calculations, figures, sketches, markups etc to receive full credit for the question.
Identify the Best Crane to complete this activity based on the project parameters minimizing the number of Critical Lifts.
