Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of virtual organizations. Some advantages of virtual organizations would be that it saves time for the employee and customer. If it's virtual, there's no travel involved for either party. With this, comes the lack of travel expenses and risk of accidents. Another large advantage is that physical proximity is no longer an issue for creating teams. Teams can have members from people in various parts of the state, or even country, if the organization is that large. A big disadvantage would be the lack of physical interaction. You can't take cues from facial expressions or feel the energy amongst team members in a virtual organization. You many feel as if you don't really know who you're working with
