Crisis Statement Writing (40 points)Each student is required to write a 200 words crisis statement. You can choose one of the scenarios for this assignment.

1. The NFL news out of Tennessee in September that three Titans players and five other members of the team tested positive for COVID-19 quickly morphed into a test of the leagues flexibility, creativity and resolve.It was a code red for a league that had enjoyed three uninterrupted weeks of football, a somewhat surprising development in a sport where social distancing is impossible and players are not sequestered. The Titans announced they were immediately suspending all in-person activities at their facilities in an abundance of caution.

The crisis statement needs to follow the inverted pyramid style of writing. The format of the crisis statement will have to include the following elements

:1) Attach the organization logo

2) Address your audience

3) Purpose of the statement

4) Description of the incident

5) Team's response

6) Closing

7) Type the name of the signer and title (usually signed by the athletic director, general manager, or crisis team coordinator)
