The National Career Development Association reported that college students sometimes embellish achievements on job applications to gain an edge over other applicants.

1. Explain the ethical dilemma in this case study.

2. If you were in this position, would you embellish on a resume and job application in order to have an edge over other applicants? In other words, is this a harmless white lie that people tell?
