Create your process model by drawing the Logical Data Flow Diagram for your project with Microsoft Visio. This diagram should include external entities and data stores in addition to the processes and data flows. This diagram should include the 10-15 internal operations you identified earlier.

Please keep in mind that this is the logical data flow diagram, you do not need to show the details you would normally include in a physical data flow diagram.

Consistency is important. Please make sure your graphical representation of flow of data in the organization matches the business analysis you developed earlier.

When creating your data flow diagram you can make assumptions related to the real-life restrictions of your business. Please list those assumptions separately. This is what I did below, can you explan how you would do this in Microsoft Viso.

Business Analysis

Our customers will place their order on our newly design MacDonalds app. When they are searching through the menu on the app, it will also show the price of each item before one gets to the check out. In addition, there will be a time slot for when customers want to pick up their food. When they checkout on the app or at the store, customers will be given a receipt with their order and an order number. Then they can show or tell the cashier when they go through the drive thru, or when they go inside what their order number is.

When the cashier enters the customer order number and time, the information management team will be able to keep track of the time when the order was placed and what item was order in some type of database. We will also be able to keep track of how long it took for the customer to receive their order.

Every six months we will check our database and see what each customer order based on their order number. Then we can determine what the customers order the most and send them coupons based on what they like to order the most. With all. this data, our design team can come up with ways to design a system that will make our brand more marketable
