You are leading a team that is working on Design Build Fast Track project Hockey Arena.

The TCO is planned for December 23^rd - 2024 (this date can be changed to reflect Fast Track and logical time when an arema/stadium is needed per the Owner's request)

1. List all activities involved to build the project

2. Assign time frame for each activity A/S/M/MEP

3. Build a baseline schedule in Excel or MS Project - Instructor will provide details in class

4. Identify the Critical Path in order to hit the TCO date

5. Note: Special cranes and machinery needed, geotechnical report, CDs?

6. Note: inspections needed prior TCO and add buffer time for re-inspection if any

7. Note: all overlapping activities and build schedule for the activities that require specialty trades, assign schedule

8. Note: pay attention on the long lead items (add them in the schedule)

9. Note: include drawings approval time in the schedule

10. Note: include in the schedule special effects and coordination time

11. Note: identify the way how the ice will be maintained

12. Think about what other functions this stadium will have

13. Consider special seats (ADA), large TV screens, special lighting, escalators, moving walks and so on

NOTE: You will need to research already built Hockey arenas, figure out how they were built, what activities took place, the timeframe to be built, and critical items.
