Need help with g and h

The method we have investigated is called the bisection method (The reason is ap- parent). Note that the intermediate value theorem, which is a seemingly abstract and useless result, is critical. (g) The function f(r) has one negative zero, too. By using the bisection method, find the negative zero with an error of less than 0.01. Explain the details. (h) We cannot apply the bisection method to a discontinuous function, because the intermediate value theorem does not hold for a discontinuous function. To see this, give an example of a discontinuous function g(r) such that g(0) > 0, g(1)
