Summer courses are an important element to reduce or keep up the student programs. They have become a fundamental element for students who must work to pay for their studies. A recent study conducted this summer among 150 students of the College, seeks to find what elements are important to consider when taking a summer class. The study considered the following variables. The number of credits registered, number of hours the student used to study, number of hours used in "virtual office hours, VOH", the percentage of material seen in the content section in OAKS, whether or not he/she saw all the videos offered by the instructor (yes = 1, no = 0), the number of hours per week of work, the number of courses registered and the grade obtained. The goal is to predict the final grade based on those variables. Use a 96% confidence level unless otherwise specified. Data are under pr8_8. a. Are there multicollinearity problems? b. Is the model valid? c. Should all the variables in the model be included in the model? . Determine the regression equation. e. Estimate with 96% confidence the population slope for VOH variable. f. Interpret the coefficients in the equation. g. What is the coefficient of determination? What does this statistic tell you? h. What is the coefficient of correlation? What does this statistic tell you? i. Predict with 94% confidence the final grade of a student who works 35 hours per week, studies 25 hours per week, registered for 6 credits (2 courses), spends 12 hours in Virtual Office Hours, watched all the videos of the class and covered 75% of the OAKS content. j. Predict with 91% confidence the final grade for all students who work 40 hours per week, study 10 hours per week, spend 2 hours in Virtual Office Hours, do not watch all the videos of the class, registered for 6 credits (2 courses) and covered 35% of the content in OAKS. k. Predict with 99% confidence the final grade of a student who works 20 hours per week, studies 26 hours per week, registered for 3 credit hours (1 course), spends 10 hours in Virtual Office Hours, watched all the videos of the class and covered 40% of the OAKS content
