Networking Project Week 5

Basic Networking Deliverables:

Use IP address assignment 172.16.0.0/8

Subnet the above for 30 hosts per network

Use the 2nd usable Host for the Public Network 100.1.1.0/29 to assign to FA0/0

Use the first network of your subnet solution for Interface Fa1/0 on Core1

oAssign 1st Usable Host

Assign the 1st usable host on 192.168.1.0/30 to Fa0/1 on Core1

Assign the 2nd usable host on 192.168.1.0/30 to Fa0/1 on Core2

Use the second network of your subnet solution for Interface Fa1/0 on Core2

oAssign 1st Usable Host

Use the 2nd usable Host for the Public Network 200.2.2.0/29 to assign to FA0/0 on Core2

Use Static Routing to Route between Routers and to enable access to internet

Assign a default route on Core1 that points to ISP network

Assign a default route on Core2 that points to ISP network

Statically assign IP addresses for all PCs

All PCs connected to ALS1 should use Core1 for default gateway

All PCs connected to ALS2 should use Core2 for default gateway

Test ping to 9.9.9.9 (the web server) from the PCs

Secure console and secret passwords

oConsole password - cisco

oEnable secret - class

oAll passwords encrypted
