One of the most popular architectures in use today is TCP/IP, which stands for Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol. It is the architecture that was developed for the Internet. How do you think TCP/IP standards will have to change in the future to continue to improve the Internet. OSI, which stands for Open Systems Interconnection, was originally developed to allow for easier connection of unlike devices. Its development was an attempt to allow the many network products offered by different vendors to communicate with each other. It defines standards as the transport layer.
