1- Project overview Design the website of the school to allow student and parents to be updated on school activities and projects and generai events; the website should provide also a lst of the extra curriculum activities and schedule. The parents could follow their children deily agenda II- Project Detail IL.1- Project Description The school website project will include the following activities: - Design the home page around user's critical tasiks. - Design the site architecture and navigation for proper usability. - Implement the existing school template to meet branding requirements - Develop a content strategy. - Design an easy and comprehensive portal for the teachers to enter agenda data on a daily basis. It should also include a hosting site for the website, and all the requirement to load, launch and activate the website. 14.2. Project Purpose The school needs the website to allow a continuous relation with the parents and the student in of school hours and days. it will also allow the parents to follow up their children activities and their daily agenda. This website will allow the visitors to enhance their idea about the school academic activities and extra curriculum activities. 14.3. Project Goals The outcome of the project are: - To subscribe to a web hosting server with the appropriate services and hosting capacity. - The website should be designed around user needs and actions. - To have a user friendly and usable site architecture and novigation system. - To have a ciear strategy about the development of the site. - To maintain the content of the website. - A home page designed around user identified critical tasids III- Work Breakdown Structure From the project goals we can deduce the Work Breakdown Structure. We can see that our project is divided to 18 different tasks. To finish the project all 16 tasks should be finished. IV-Gant Chart The project duration can be assumed to 20 days V.
