Thesis: One declarative sentence that explicitly states your topic, your stance on that topic and your goal for the audience. Initial Preview: Present this section in present tense and explain a very short blueprint as to what your Mainpoints are going to be in the order you plan to address them. This order should remain consistent throughout the speech and your initial preview should include your mainpoints, only. II.
