The variable "number of logins" can be measured in LEO for each student, with values such as 1, 5, or 0. This is a quantitative measure because it is a numerical count of the recorded logins, and it is discrete because you cannot have a fraction of a login. Logins are measured on a ratio scale because "zero logins" means the absence of logins, and a student with 4 logins has twice as many sessions as one with 2 logins
