Objective: Develop a HRM Strategic Plan

During the course you have worked with various elements that would impact a HRM strategic plan. This assignment requires the construction of a HRM Strategic Plan. You will use the company that you analyzed in Week 4) and Week 5 which will help provide a starting point for this assignment. You can include the work contained in both of these assignments without any penalty for self-plagiarism, but references and citations as used in that work will still need to be reflected in this project.

• Using the organization you evaluated in Weeks 4 and 5 for mission, vision, and code of ethical conduct assignments, create a 5-6 page HRM Strategic Plan.
  • Conduct an organizational strategic analysis.
    • Include the mission, vision, and corporate goals.
    • Align new programs and initiatives with the mission and vision of the organization.
• A review of the companys Annual Report will provide insight into future goals and objectives.
  • Identify strategic HR issues.
    • Assess the HR implications to meet the future goals, programs, and objectives.
  • Identify ongoing HR issues.
    • These are general issues not linked to a strategic goal.
  • Prioritize HR issues and determine actions.
  • Draw up the HRM plan.
    • Recommend and define three programs to help meet the goals of the organization.
• Identify the organizational objective the program supports.
• Indicate the strategic importance of the program.
• List the objectives of the program.
• Develop a specific set of actions that will be part of each program.
• Using the various maps in A Guide to Strategic Human Resource Planning for some ideas, create a map of how the program relates to the mission, vision, organizational objectives, and strategic goals of the organization.
