Objective:

In the current business environment, it is critical for a businessperson to be able to mine through

a significant amount of data and understand the underlying trends that emerge. It is equally

important, if not more so$,$ to be able to present the mined data in a manner that is easily

understood by an audience. The purpose of this assignment is to critically assess your individual

understanding of the restaurant business plan you completed this semester.

Instructions:

Write a high$-$level summary paper that gives a comprehensive overview of your proposed

restaurant. In particular, you should address the key summary metrics, overview, and outlook

similar to the major sections of your business plan report$$s executive summary: $1)$ Concept

Overview; $2)$ Property$/$Site Snapshot; $3)$ Neighborhood Overview; $4)$ Competition Overview; $5)$

Financial Overview and Summary; and $6)$ Overall Project Summary. In other words, I want you

to illustrate your knowledge and understanding of the business environment surrounding your

proposed restaurant and provide insight that goes beyond simply reciting data points. Please

make sure you submit your own words for this assignment. If it too closely resembles the

executive summary you submitted for your project, you will not receive any credit.

Format:

There is a two $(2)$ page minimum requirement, with a four $(4)$ page maximum limit$,$ not

including the title and reference pages. The format of the paper should be double$-$spaced, $12-$

point Time New Roman font, and $1-$inch margins. Remember to cite your sources, using APA

format, and include the reference page also in APA format. A minimum of two $(2)$ sources

should be used for this assignment.
