OBJECTIVE:The purpose of this keystone assignment is to introduce, examine the process of management and to look at both types of leaders the effective leaders and less effective leaders as it applies to you and your managerial beliefs. The changing ways of thinking about the world that are critical for managers are an important perspective as you will be contrasting your personal style of leadership and management which are related but different. The management side should focus on monitoring results, comparing them with goals, and correcting deviations. In contrast, the leadership side of the same activity should focus on energizing people to overcome bureaucratic hurdles to help reach goals.

Select two leadership theories and two management theories ( need to make a self-reflection of your managerial and leadership skills. How does these theories align with your personal beliefs and how would you detract from them?
