Calculate baseline sigma.

Step $1$: Determine from the information given the DPMO for the current process

Step $2$: Use Table $9\mathrm{.}2,$ p$.263$ to estimate the process sigma level

Step $3$: repeate steps $1$ & $2$ for the target defect rate
