Business Scenario Llama Solutions Incorporated (LSI) is an organization of around 1,500 employees whose main line of business is developing enterprise solutions (e.g., CRM, ERP). In 1994, LSI developed a product named "Social Media" to help connect employees within organizations. Social Media quickly gained popularity with customers and employees internally at LSI. Therefore, LSI is considering building new Social Media features that can bring new lines of revenue to the company and fix recurrent problems that users have reported. LSI has hired you to provide information about the current state of their internal Social Media implementation. The information you provide to LSI will allow the development of new lines of revenue (e.g., advertisement, premium services) and help identify recurrent problems that need fixing (e.g., bot accounts, echo chambers, user isolation). Your job is to carefully read all business scenarios and craft SQL statements that obtain relevant information for each business opportunity and problem. Create a Word document and organize your answers in the order that the questions are presented below. For every business opportunity and problem, you must include the following information as a response: I. SQL statement(s) and screen captures of the SQL statement(s) a. Make sure to organize SQL statements and screen capture in the chronological order they need to be executed. b. After all your SQL statements and screen captures, include a short description in your words of why all the suggested SQL statements help address the business requirements. II. In your answers to the business problems, please include a short discussion on ways that changes to the database can help mitigate this problem from happening again. Business opportunities 1. Adding revenue through advertisement is a standard practice of free social media platforms. LSI would like to add advertisements about their technology solutions without antagonizing users from Social Media platforms. Therefore, they have considered it more effective to add their advertisements on popular posts or user profiles. LSI has requested you to obtain information that can help them decide where in the Social Media platform to include an advertisement banner. Your job is to compare the number of users that can be reached on the 10 most popular posts against the number of users the authors of these popular posts have on their friendship networks. After you have compared this information, offer a suggestion on where LSI should place its advertisement banner. Business problems 2. The LSI software development team has reported that they have accidentally inserted posts from their testing environment into the LSI Social Media database. The software developing team has noted that all accidental posts will have a date of creation before the creation of the social media (1994). Your job is to find all posts that need to be removed from the database, inform LSI how many posts need to be removed, and suggest an SQL statement to delete them. 3. LSI Social Media, similar to other social media platforms, has been affected by the presence of bots. Some bots have been creative enough to disguise their activities and accounts using information that is close to a standard user of the platform. However, there are some bots that have failed to replicate attributes such as the date of birth of a traditional employee at LSI. Your job is to use the date of birth to identify accounts of users that are the most possible bots, inform the number of accounts you suggest are bots, and include a SQL statement to remove all bot accounts
