Objectives First order RC circuits are studied in this lab. Time response of the circuits is usually mathematically described finding circuit's impulse response. Pulse response is more practical since the waveform is available in all signal generators. In this laboratory, the transient response of the first order RC circuit is analyzed using pulsed (square wave) input signals. I. Simulations (Report simulations) Use Pspice or any other simulator (LTSpice or Cadence for instance) and simulate the low-pass circuit shown in Figure 1 using the nominal capacitor value of C=1F and choose the resistor such that = = 1. Set the input signal for a square wave with a frequency of 50 Hz, duty cycle 50%, amplitude of 1V. A. IMPORTANT NOTE: Simulate the circuit in Spice and select only 3-4 cycles of the waveform. B. Print a sample output showing 3-4 cycles of Channels A and B (overly) on the same display. C. Change the capacitance value to 0.1F capacitor and repeat parts A and B. D. Change the capacitor to a value of 10F capacitor and repeat parts A-B. E. Calculate =RC for each one of the capacitor values used in these simulations. Use the values to explain the
