ok my task was to explain a way i would use a principle of learning science and include a justification of how this principle is supported by the give instructional technique : this is what i submitted so far and it doesn't quite it .. First, I would start by reintroducing the concepts of addition and subtraction. Using songs and or music about counting and sharing. This type of music integration provides a positive impact on student learning. Using these techniques engages the senses and memory pathways, providing a more memorable and meaningful way to learn through a more engaging interaction. In engaging with the class about the song and asking questions with props and visual aids that the children can relate to, such as having two of something and getting one more, perhaps with fruit, and asking "how many do I have now?" I would then break the students down into groups and give them a hands-on activity, allowing them to explore a learning experience through interactions with one another.
